on the bright side i finished all the mlp stickers and im almoosstt done with one of the illustrations. Aisling and Of Dreams and Sand have been/will be updated to become prints and the rest should be brand new stuff yaayyy

MLP Sticker for Twilight Sparkle! I plan to do one of each of the six ladies. I just wanted to ask what everyone’s thoughts on this are ;u; I did a quick test print on regular paper before i try on glossy sticker paper — so you can see the size and all, here and here. so anyones advice on merchandise, conventions, what sells etc etc would be mucho appreciated |D <33

I’m taking the Becoming a Better Artist workshop on CGsociety and damn its already kicking my ass, I’m learning a lot already! I’m working really hard to challenge myself and whoo boy this just shows me how shitty I am at backgrounds OTL but thats okay. In spite of all the defiencies in these sketches there’s something I’m really happy about with them too. Maybe it’s just the fact that I know I’m pushing myself creatively that makes me feel good about them, but you know! Here’s hoping I learn a lot more by the end of the workshop. c:

and some gigantic art snob from the UK came here for 40 minutes, shifting between being sweet and shit talking nyc and its art and modern art and how classic art was always better which was fine. talking politics and other heated topics and then when i mentioned i do digital art she totally accosted me
and told me how i was bastardizing the art industry and that every defense I tried to make was utterly wrong and why
and she made me cry.
I’m so upset all of a sudden.

You know when you spend a long time feeling like you’ll never break into the industry and it frustrates you no matter how hard you work?
Suddenly I’m feeling like I can do it, I can become a professional and I can compete on par with professional artists one day in the not too distant future. And it feels awesome.
